The August bank holiday weekend symbolises many things
The end of the summer. The Reading and Leeds festivals. Er, Bond films on TV, probably.
But this year, it could just mean a really, really big steak. Ok, that might not be traditional, but Aldi have got you covered if you just really want some meat.
The discount supermarket are bringing back their Tomahawk steak, in time for the Monday off.
Tomahawk steak is ,if you don’t know your cuts, a massive bit of rib-eye, served on the bone. And because this is Aldi, you won’t be paying through the nose for all that delicious meat – it is only £12.99 per kilo.
The steaks will be available from next Thursday, August 23rd. Just in time for the holiday weekend.
If the weather holds out you could even do it on a barbecue. Ok, just mentioning that will probably jinx it, but it will still taste great under the indoor grill.
And while you’re at Aldi, you can get some colour-changing gin.
