You'd think anything that inspires fitness and health in schools would be applauded.
But not in one American city. Parents of schoolchildren in Utah are not happy with photos their teacher Mindi Jensen has been posting on Instagram.
When she's not teaching lessons at North Sanpete Middle School, Mindi is down the gym sculpting her physique to compete in bodybuilding shows.
She's in pretty good shape and proudly posted photos of herself competing in the bikini category.
But it seems teachers are not supposed to have a life outside of school - or certainly not one where they are in decent shape and compete in physique contests, anyway.

When some over-zealous parents complained to the school board on the grounds that these snaps were 'inappropriate' and 'pornographic', Mindi was given three choices.
1) Make her profile private, 2) take her pictures down or 3) be fired.
Speaking with local news, Mindi says that she refused to cave into this request because she's a single mother of four and that fitness was a key factor in helping her deal with depression following her break-up, which has inspired others to do the same.

The teacher stuck to her guns and forced the school board to drop its ultimatum.
