Eddie Hall lifts a new 1,020lb deadlift world record…and it looked easy (Video)

Ben Kenyon

There was no denying Eddie Hall the world deadlift record this year.

We saw him pull a new record last year at the World Deadlift Championships…only to be disqualified for dropping the bar.

But the Stoke-on-Trent strongman was not going to let it slip (pun intended) again in 2015.

The monster man ripped the 463kg (1,020lb in old money) bar off the ground without batting an eyelid.

He really did make it look easy. That means he has broken his own world record that he set earlier this year in front of the legendary Arnold Schwarzenegger.

He beat Thor Bjornsson (The Mountain from Game of Thrones) by a whole 13kg. What a guy!

They’re inching closer to that 500kg milestone.
