The ad is for Japanese fitness product 'Sixpad' - described by its creators as a form of wearable training gear that uses Electrical Muscle Stimulation, "a technology that uses electrical signals to directly stimulate and exercise the muscles".
In the ad, the footballer holds a product that looks like something Kick-Ass would wear as part of his superhero costume.
