Get ripped, fight cancer...

If you’re looking for an excuse to get shredded, this is it.

By the time Christmas has come and gone you’ll probably be so full of turkey, ale and mince pies that you’ll be crying out for someone to roll you down to the nearest gym.

Or you might just fancy a new challenge for 2016.

Luckily for you January is when the ‘Trip to Ripped’ begins. This is the mother of all challenges as 20 average JOEs will be selected to undergo six months of hardcore training to get them in the shape of their lives with ex-Royal Marine Rich McKeating.

JOE is backing the Teenage Cancer Trust campaign – but now British actor Charlie Rowe in on board getting guys aged 18 to 24 to get on the challenge.

The star of The Boat that Rocked might never have lifted a weight in his life, but you don’t need to be in Schwarzenegger shape to sign up.

Even if you’re starting from scratch this is one body transformation challenge that literally anyone can take on with a bit of motivation and a lot of determination.

Charlie, who actually played a young cancer patient in Red Band Society, explains how you can sign up.

When Titan Force: Trip to Ripped kicks off on January 11, 2016, the 20 finalists will have been selected to do the six-month challenge.

The chosen ones will get free training and diet programmes, expert coaching from celebrity trainer Rich McKeating and ex-bodybuilding champion Dan Norman.

After six months hard training the 20 will doubt be in killer shape and ready to get a photoshoot with top fitness photographer Christopher Bailey for a 2017 charity calender…and all proceeds will go to help the brilliant Teenage Cancer Trust.

Anyone can pre-order their 2017 calendar and donations are welcome via the Trip to Ripped’s JustGiving page or by texting TRIP75, plus your amount to 70070.
