What's done is done. The votes have been cast, and Donald Trump will become the 45th president of the United States of America.
The businessman will be inaugurated on January 20 after defying commentators to win the Republican nomination and then defying polls to defeat Hillary Clinton.
We know plenty about Trump's
pledges and actions, but he's not the only one to make wild promises about what he'd do post-election.
More than a dozen high-profile American celebrities said they would leave the country if Trump was voted in, and now they're faced with a decision.
Well, apart from 'Orange is the New Black' actor Matt McGorry, who seems to have it all mapped out.

So, without further ado, here's a list of who else made a similar pledge to McGorry:
Samuel L Jackson explained that he'd move to South Africa if "motherfucker" Trump got in
South Africa wasn't far enough away for Cher

While both Bryan Cranston and Amy Schumer said they'd leave the United States if the Republican candidate was elected, as did 'Girls' creator Lena Dunham.
It might be time to welcome Will.i.am to the UK permanently, though his claims that he would move to either London or Scotland were likely made in jest.
And there were plenty more regular people who now have to decide whether to follow through on pledges to move to Canada, Spain, South Africa, the UK or an entirely different planet.
