Season 7 is months away yet, but such is the popularity of Game of Thrones worldwide that the speculation about what’s going to happen in the new season won’t stop until we see it for ourselves.
The latest rumours even suggest that
Conor McGregor will have a role in one of the remaining two seasons of Game of Thrones, having already
given us a taste of his acting chops in the latest instalment of the Call of Duty franchise.
There’s no sign of McGregor in one of the first glimpses of Season 7 in HBO’s trailer of what’s to come in 2017, but that shouldn’t really come as a surprise considering that footage of the show in the trailer amounts to approximately two seconds.
Hidden in amongst previews of new shows and new seasons of existing shows (such as the brilliant Curb Your Enthusiasm) is the briefest glimpse of Arya on a horse, Sansa walking in a rather determined fashion and Jon Snow glancing towards a long-haired fellow character that can’t really be identified.

The Game of Thrones bit comes in at around 1:02 in the video above; granted, it’s not much but it’ll have to sustain us until the official trailers start rolling out in the new year.
