Donald Trump’s famous appearance on Wrestlemania 23 is well worth another look

“Austin stunned the Donald!”

When you’re the president of the United States, you’re going to have people regularly digging into your past, particularly on the day of your official inauguration.

There have been plenty of occasions where the more unsavoury aspects of Donald Trump’s past have been re-entered into the public domain, but James Corden went for something a little more light-hearted this weekend.

That is if you can call Wrestlemania light-hearted, of course.

Back in April 2007, at Wrestlemania 23, the man who is now the most powerful man in the world nailed Vince McMahon outside the ring, shaved his head inside it and was on the receiving end of a Stone Cold stunner in what was a thoroughly entertaining spectacle.

He remains the only president undefeated at Wrestlemania and whatever else happens during the next four or even eight years, it’s a record he’s likely never to lose.
