Getting Stevie Wonder for carpool karaoke was always going to be a huge success for James Corden and The Late Late Show.

But booking Alanis Morrisette (who looks incredible btw) to duet on one of the biggest songs of the nineties Ironic and update the lyrics to suit the kids is an original idea worthy of a bigger hat tip. (Suggest you read the next paragraph singing) 'It's like ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife' is replaced with 'it's like they announce the new iPhone the day after you buy it' and 'it's a Snapchat that you wish you had saved, it's a funny tweet that nobody favs...'
