Viewer outrage over ‘lewd comment’ on last night’s Coronation Street

If you were watching Corrie last night then you probably won't have been happy about what went on. Pat Phelan turned up to the funeral of his latest murder victim, Luke Britton, and he couldn't help running his mouth. Having said his 'farewell', he then went down the Rovers Return and started goading Gary Windass about Bethany Platt's lap dancing job. He asked what he would get from the 17-year-old character "for a fiver", before adding, "once you've had the mother..." in reference to his relationship with Sarah Platt.
