“I couldn’t pick a better bunch of jerks to get marooned on a distant planet with!”
So begins this prelude to Alien: Covenant, Ridley Scott’s latest chapter in the series he started way back in 1979.
Like an excited xenomorph that’s just itching to burst out of someone’s chest, we can’t wait to see what the next installment in the saga has.
In the latest clip, Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Danny McBride and Billy Crudup are all together for one last supper before entering cryosleep, as they embark on a mission to found a human settlement on a remote and distant planet.
The story revolves around the crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.
It wouldn’t be Alien without one seriously heart-stopping moment though.
