Friends actor is the first American to join the presenting team in the show's 39-year history, and many will hope he has the goods to help the revamped show compete with Jeremy Clarkson's competing programme on Amazon Prime.
And it's worth remembering that LeBlanc has previous with Top Gear, having appeared as the 'star in a reasonably-priced car' back in 2012.
He admitted to struggling with having a stick-shift on his left-hand side and admitted he just wanted to end up "in the top half", but that just felt like excuses from the American actor.
Not that he really needed to make any excuses - with a time of 1 minute and 42.1 seconds, he went straight to the top of the leaderboard.
