The Empire Strikes Back…and how!
Very few upcoming films have us as excited quite like the latest instalment from that galaxy that’s far, far away but Rogue One: A Star Wars Story promises to be very different from the episodes (or some episodes) that we’ve all come to love so much.
This is a time of war as the Galactic Empire have begun to tighten their grip on every star system and planet that’s spread across the galaxy. In this dark time, who dares to stand up to the Emperor, Director Krennic and a certain Sith Lord?
That would be a wayward band of Rebel fighters who have come together to carry out a desperate mission: to steal the plans for the Death Star before it can be used to enforce the Emperor’s rule.
Our excitement went into overdrive after the first trailer surfaced a few months ago and this latest one has certainly done nothing to dampen it.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is directed by Gareth Edwards and will star Felicity Jones, Ben Mendelsohn, Forest Whitaker, Diego Luna, Mads Mikkelsen, Riz Ahmed and many more.
It’s due out on December 16. We can’t flipping wait.
