This is how Captain America’s shield fares against real ammo

Captain America’s famous shield is near-unstoppable as both an offensive and defensive tool, which makes it one of the coolest things in comic book lore.

Just in time for the release of Captain America: Civil War later this week, the third Cap movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Jerry Miculek, a.k.a “The Greatest Shooter of All Time”, decided he’d see how the iconic shield shapes up against real-life bullets, because America.

In the world of Marvel, Cap’s shield is made from virtually indestructible Vibranium. Being that this is an entirely fictional material, and therefore difficult to come by, the replica in the video is made of solid titanium, as reported by Comic Book. Check out what happened below.
