The Rock is going to star in the new Jumanji film

That's one way to bring back a 90's classic.

Classic 90s film Jumanji was one of our favourites growing up.

With a lion, giant mosquitoes and a show-stealing performance from the late Robin Williams, it was not like anything any child of the 90s had seen before.

So, considering how great the original was, any studio looking to create a new version would need to get someone really special on board.

Someone like, say, The Rock.

This Friday saw The Rock confirm he will be starring in a new Jumanji film. Confirming that he does not indeed sleep (seriously, where does he find time to film all of these?), the man otherwise known as Dwayne Johnson said he will be meeting with the director Jake Kasdan (who helmed Walk Hard, Bad Teacher and Sex Tape) before beginning shooting on the new film this autumn.

We’d see any Jumanji reboot. We’d see any new film starring The Rock. A combination of the two definitely ticks the boxes for us.
