The new trailer for Kingsman: The Golden Circle is absolutely off the chain

Paul Moore

F** k yeah!

We were very happy to see James Bond rebooted in Casino Royale because 007 was crying out for a gritty, tough and believable spy thriller. With Daniel Craig moving the character in a new direction, recent Bond films have been less willing to use O.T.T gadgets – although we’re delighted to see of Q (Ben Whishaw) featuring more prominently.

This being said, Bond fans will have fond memories of some iconic gadgets, guns and gizmos. The jet-pack in Thunderball, the Nokia phone in Tomorrow Never Dies and the famous rolex from Live and Let Die are all memorable, but in recent cinematic history, the Kingsman films have stepped in with some memorable gadgets of their own.

Bulletproof umbrellas, knives hidden in shoes and a taser ring all featured in Matthew Vaughn’s original, but the sequel, Kingsman: The Golden Circle has somehow managed to up the ante.

Take a look as we get a further look at The Statesmen, the American counterpart to the Kingsman, in the latest trailer along with more action than you can fire a gun at.

In Kingsman: The Golden Circle, our heroes face a new challenge. When their headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage, their journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the US called Statesman, dating back to the day they were both founded. In a new adventure that tests their agents’ strength and wits to the limit, these two elite secret organizations band together to defeat a ruthless common enemy, in order to save the world, something that’s becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy.

If you need another reason to watch then you’ll be delighted to learn that Jeff Bridges is in this one. Jeff Bridges makes everything great. It also looks like Channing Tatum is channeling his Jump Street character here because he’s clearly having an absolute riot in this film.

We know what we’ll be watching on September 22.
