The first plot details for Mission Impossible: Fallout have been revealed

Cruise has accepted another mission and a gigantic stunt.

After rediscovering the NOC list, swapping his own face an endless amount of times, saving the world from the rabbit’s foot (whatever the hell that was, we don’t care because MI:III was excellent), surviving Ghost Protocol and thwarting the Rogue Nation, there’s bound to be some fallout for Ethan Hunt.

In fact, that’s the title of the next Mission Impossible adventure as announced by Tom ‘let’s do another crazy-ass stunt’ Cruise.

In other news, Crusie has joined Instagram. G’wan Maverick!

Get ready. #MissionImpossible

Given the fact that Christopher McQuarrie knows how to get the best out of the action star, he directed him in Jack Reacher and the last Mission Impossible film, we’re pumped to see what they’ve got in store.

In fact, they’ve given the first shot of their latest death-defying stunt and it seems like a doozy.

After hanging off the side of cliffs, planes and the Burj Khalifa, it seems like the Cruiser is starting to feel the need for speed again.

As for the plot, McQuarrie was speaking with Empire and he said that the title of Fallout was deliberately chosen.

“The title has multiple meanings in the film, from the literal to the figurative. There is the threat of nuclear terrorism hanging over the movie, which is the literal threat. There’s the notion that what’s happened in the movie is the end result of choices that Ethan Hunt has made in his life. It’s Ethan’s past come back to haunt him. It’s the fallout of all his good intentions.”

Mmm, could this mean the return of Michelle Monaghan to the spy saga?

Everything will be answered when Mission: Impossible – Fallout is released on July 27, 2018.

Also choosing the mission are Rebecca Ferguson, Henry Cavill, Simon Pegg, Angela Bassett, Alec Baldwin, Ving Rhames, and Vanessa Kirby.
