23 year old Elijah Quashie – aka The Chicken Connoisseur - hit national fame last year when his YouTube series reviewing London’s fried chicken shops blew up. He’s since become a cult figure and even has gotten a book deal. Now, in a recent interview with The Fader, Quashie was asked if he was going to vote in the upcoming General Election. His response:
Probably. If I was then [it would be for] Jeremy Corbyn, because he’s one of the few people who makes sense. He’s not sneaky, he’s just a regular guy saying, “It’s dumb spending too much money there, we should spend it here.” It’s all common sense.
Corbyn is a vegetarian, meaning that he probably isn’t going to chow down on a two-piece meal. But The Fader asked Quashie if he thinks he could get Jezza to try some chips:
Not sure if he has a local Bossman, but that’s a shout. Get a couple wings and chips, and chill.
