Following the horrific events at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida last week, CNN hosted a special ‘Town Hall’ programme where students, school staff and affected families attended a discussion with local authorities. The NRA – who have faced growing criticism in the wake of the shooting – were represented by controversial conservative talk show host Dana Loesch. And the show’s cast and staff were none too happy to be co-opted by the NRA.
