Ron Swanson does not hold back.
Following the horrific events at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida last week, CNN hosted a special ‘Town Hall’ programme where students, school staff and affected families attended a discussion with local authorities.
The NRA – who have faced growing criticism in the wake of the shooting – were represented by controversial conservative talk show host Dana Loesch. After the show they tweeted her with the following gif:

If you don’t know, that’s Leslie Knope, the local government bureaucrat from the excellent NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation, who is played by Amy Poehler. And the show’s cast and staff were none too happy to be co-opted by the NRA.
Nick Offerman, who plays the incomparable Ron Swanson, didn’t hold back.
