Matthew Perry has confirmed that the long-awaited
Friends reunion special will be filmed in March next year.
The special was meant to film in August but was delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
On Thursday however, Matthew Perry tweeted the reunion was back on, and they have a date confirmed.

Friends reunion being rescheduled for the beginning of March," said Perry in the tweet. "Looks like we have a busy year coming up. And that's the way I like it!"
The special is being made for HBO Max, the new streaming service that launched in May. There is no word on where it will air in the UK yet.
Last year, Jennifer Anniston posted a photo of the cast reuniting on Instagram.
It was the first post she made on her Instagram account, and it took her only five hours and 16 minutes to get to a million followers.
Matthew Perry, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer are all due to return for the one-off reunion. It is due to be an unscripted special, not a proper new episode of the sitcom, though no more details about what will be in it have been revealed yet.
Debuting in 1994,
Friends remains one of television’s most popular sitcoms, continuing to win new fans through syndication and streaming. After it aired its final episode in 2004, it became a staple on E4 and later Channel 5, and is consistently one of the most popular shows on Netflix in the UK.
From its second season onwards,
Friends was consistently in the top five primetime US shows for every year it was on the air. The final episode was watched 52.5 million Americans, making it fifth most-watched series finale in the history of television, and the most-watched TV episode of the 2000s.
