For the first time ever, the social media company is allowing users to purchase cinema tickets for X-Men: Apocalypse in the US, where the mutant movie opens on Friday. If this trial venture is successful, they are expected to roll out the service for other flicks - and other regions.
The way it works is that our American cousins can see a video ad in the Discover tab of their Snapchat app. A swipe upwards from there allows them to reserve their seats for the latest X-Men adventure. It's as easy as sending someone a cheeky nude - but with less chance of cruel rejection.
