This doesn’t bode well for the upcoming David Brent movie.

A great number of comedy fans were eagerly anticipating Ricky Gervais’ latest creation Special Correspondents on Netflix this past week. The feature length production was released exclusively on the streaming service on April 29, and there was no shortage of publicity trailing the show.

Gervais is widely acknowledged on both sides of the Atlantic as a talented writer and performer.
