West was said to have 'got mad' when staff put his clothes on hangers
Kanye West is being roasted for selling his latest
fashion line out of black bin bags.
The hip-hop icon cemented his position in the clothing industry through his
Yeezy sneakers and clothing range, but in his latest collaboration with, GAP, Ye hasn't bothered with a catwalk show or even a launch party.
He's just dumped the clothes in rubbish bags on the shop floor.

If you were wondering whether this was just a snap of when the goods were delivered: it's not — the display instructions were said to have been made at the "artists request".
PageSix reports, according to an eyewitness, that a sales associate said "Ye got mad when he saw they had [his clothes] on hangers” because “this is how he wanted it.” “They won’t help you find [your] size,” they added, “you just have to just dig through everything.”
It's Ye's world, we're just living in it.

While people online have branded it "worse than the Next sale" and simply cruel for the members of staff left to try and manage the mess, others have pointed out that if that's how they are supposed to be laid out, then
tidying up must be a doddle and believe it's nothing less than a stroke of genius.

As seen above, many have also noted that Ye actually worked at GAP, as mentioned in his song "Spaceship" on his debut album,
The College Dropout. With that in mind, people can't tell if this is a thoughtless marketing gimmick or an absolute master stroke from a gruntled ex-employee, ridiculing and
getting back at a company he famously hated.
Either way, the only thing funnier than the stunt itself is people's humorous takes on it. The internet really is undefeated.

It's worth mentioning that Ye - who recently
returned to Instagram with a series of cryptic posts about ex-wife Kim Kardashian - is no stranger to causing a stir when it comes to his fashion empire.
Let's not forget this is the same man who tried to sell plain white t-shirts for $125, wore MAGA hats for over a year; essentially
ripped off Reebook Classics for one particular style of Yeezy's and even debuted a new clothing line with
Pornhub at one of their award shows.
It doesn't stop with black bin bags full of clothes either; people are also thoroughly enjoying the new sunglasses released as part of the Kanye West x GAP line. Roping in several models including his own children, Saint and Psalm West, no one was safe:

But while people can't quite make sense of the bin bag ploy, one thing is certain - all of the items will most probably sell out.
