It's pretty hard to deny the resemblance.

Kanye's back on Twitter and, as per usual, his content is #Thread after #Thread of the kinds of thoughts you have before you fall asleep, but forget to ever write down. https://twitter.com/kanyewest/status/988055697983066112 https://twitter.com/kanyewest/status/987417308124475392 https://twitter.com/kanyewest/status/987411453131943936 https://twitter.com/kanyewest/status/987399001929539584 Yesterday, however, he took a break from /r/im14andthisisdeep musings to drop a 'rough draft' of his upcoming 'Yeezy slides' - only to get a reaction that he probably wasn't hoping for. Get a look at them here: https://twitter.com/kanyewest/status/987087935978614785?tfw_site=ladbible&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ladbible.com%2Fentertainment%2Fviral-music-everyone-is-making-the-same-jokes-about-first-pic-of-yeezy-slides-20180421 They're essentially just Crocs, aren't they? Mad he thinks he could get away with that one. Wouldn't fancy its chances if it got put through Turnitin. As you can imagine people were quick to point out the similarity. https://twitter.com/DetroitDarren/status/987760714570924034 https://twitter.com/nageekxela/status/987969445447553024 https://twitter.com/flmmkryt/status/987950268913471489 https://twitter.com/jlou_2/status/987756243401039877 https://twitter.com/ningiou/status/987087999736471552 It comes after Kanye announced two new albums. And, after he got called out for having a 'custom tattoo' designed that was actually just the words 'Saint West' written in a font available for free download on dafont.com. Having previously been noted for disjointed but powerful outbursts on Twitter, West deactivated his profile, as well as his Instagram, just under a year ago in May 2017. It's good to have him back.
