People baffled after finding out the names of Rebel Wilson’s siblings

They sound like a team of superheroes.

With an iconic first name like Rebel, some would argue she was destined for stardom.

She grew up in the suburbs of Sydney to professional dog handler parents, and was a high-achiever academically and a member of her school's debating team.

In her early 20's, Wilson spent a year in South Africa carrying out charity work. While there, she contracted malaria and experienced regular hallucinations as a result of the disease.

One of the hallucinations she had involved her winning an Oscar, and she credits this experience as the moment she decided to move to the US to pursue acting.

We think everyone would agree that Wilson has a pretty interesting life story, but another aspect of her life that people are just finding out about is perhaps the most interesting of all.

The 44-year-old is married to a successful fashion and jewellery designer by the name of Ramona Agruma, and welcomed a daughter named Royce into their family in 2022.

Rebel was clearly keen on carrying on her parent's penchant for unusual names.

Wilson is the oldest of three siblings. Her younger sister Liberty was born two years later in 1982.

Liberty was followed by brother Ryot, born in 1988, and the youngest Wilson sibling is Annachi (who also goes by Anarchy), born in 1992.

People on Twitter were shocked at the list of unusual names.

One user wrote: "Who’s in charge of names in that family?!"

Another commented: "What a bad ass family."

One other person posted: "No. Surely not. What kind of parent does that?"

While many might jump to the conclusion that the Wilson parents must be hippies, Rebel revealed in an interview with The Daily Telegraph in 2011 that her parents are actually very conservative.

She explained the meaning behind the unusual names: "A girl called Rebel sang at their wedding and that’s where my name came from. My three siblings and I all have middle names after English royalty. Mine is Elizabeth, which is what I was known as at school."

Rebel's younger sister Liberty also has a daughter, whom she named Sovereign.

So in total, the Wilson family consists of Rebel, Liberty, Ryot, Anarchy, Royce and Sovereign. They'd make good Avengers that's for sure!
