People love pointing out mistakes and continuity errors in TV and film.

Why do you think those blooper shows and DVDs are so popular? Unimaginative relatives not knowing what to buy you for Christmas? Maybe, but there's more to it than that. We recently caught wind of a 'Friends' episode where Monica's stand-in was very visible, but closer to home we had a similar situation in 'EastEnders'. Researchers for the soap got the 'young people use Snapchat' memo, but may have missed 'this is what Snapchat is and how it works' memo. It happens to the best of us. https://twitter.com/SkullsAndPearls/status/803332133674688512 We all make mistakes, but fortunately most of us don't make mistakes on mainstream television shows watched by millions on terrestrial TV. Even those age-old bloopers - you know, like those classic Star Wars ones - took place before the advent of Twitter, meaning the criticism was restricted to late-night TV specials presented by whichever version of Olly Murs, Ben Shephard or that other guy happened to be available that week. Nowadays, of course, one tiny slip-up will be greeted by a barrage of people all pointing out the exact same thing. A bit like this. https://twitter.com/Nahida_Az/status/803331130611105793 https://twitter.com/DrScribble/status/803331452154839040 https://twitter.com/anisah_boss/status/803331343060963329 https://twitter.com/bilal98_/status/803331204363784193 https://twitter.com/CharllWoodd/status/803331177155362817 Catch up with this week's episode of Football Friday Live
