People are only just discovering how the producers of The Twilight Saga made it appear that the vampires were running at lightning speeds. Were we just too lost in the storyline to think about how the actors actually managed to pull off those Olympic sprints? Sadly, we can't put it down to athletic talent this time, as one Tiktoker has shared a behind-the-scenes clip that shows how the vampires were able to run so quickly.

So, it turns out that the producers made the scenes by putting actors on oversized treadmills, which were then pulled along by moving vehicles. The actors ran at normal (human-like) speeds, to only then fool the camera with the addition of the speed of the treadmill. In the video, Chloe, the Tiktok user, said: "I'm baffled. My friend just sent me the behind-the-scenes of how they did the running, like the fast vampire running in Twilight." She bursts into laughter and says: "I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't this!" Her Tiktok followers were baffled, with one commenting: "You're telling me they didn't just turn on 3x." Another joked: "No wonder Robert Pattinson hated Twilight so much." Several users were also baffled by Esme’s "tiny steps" on the large treadmill, with one person claiming that it looked as if she was practicing a new "Zumba class routine."
