The flame-haired lass, who is hard or nails and damn handy with a bow and arrow, was Jon Snow's lover beyond The Wall (before they killed her off).
She's known for that one famous line 'You know nothing Jon Snow' delivered in her rough northern brogue.
So when Rosie appeared on BBC News to talk about her new play Contractions, fans couldn't believe what they were hearing.
Gone were the harsh Northern tones of Ygritte in Game of Thrones and instead she spoke with one of the poshest accents fans had ever heard.
