Netflix went down on Saturday night and people obviously lost their shit

NOOOOOOOOO

Matt Tate

If you’re anything like us then you were planning to spend a fair chunk of this weekend getting stuck into the latest Marvel/Netflix collaborative series, Luke Cage.

But users of the world’s biggest streaming service weren’t able to watch Luke Cage on Saturday night. They weren’t able to watch anything at all, in fact, because Netflix went DOWN at peak binging-with-a-beer time.

yeahhh

Oh shit indeed.

Rumours of the outage began circulating on the internet before Netflix confirmed it on their official Twitter account.

Of course most people responded rationally and with a clear mind about what should happen next.

One guy actually blamed Luke Cage.

Another decided that the site being down wasn’t a good enough excuse to do something productive instead.

One or two did try and look for the positives…

And some didn’t appear to be affected at all.

With so many tech wizards working around the clock to make sure people stay glued to their sofas, it inevitably wasn’t too long before everything was up and running again, and luckily nobody was forced into doing something reckless like initiating a conversation with relatives.

So that was that. Now you can all go back to Luke Cage. It’s really bloody good.
