Mumford and Sons are the hipster London band that managed to make folk music cool again.

But don't be fooled by their band-on-trend beards, tweed waistcoats and banjos - they haven't always been in the vanguard of musical vogue. Okay, Okay - they probably have and unlike most bands they probably don't have a cringeworthy musical past. So Jimmy Kimmel went and thought 'F**k it! Let's make one up anyway...' So obviously the evil geniuses on the show came up with the most toe-curlingly cringe faux backstory they could - the 90s boyband. It's pretty damned funny too. Meet 'Mumtown'.
