Saturday night sorted

The weekend is here, which means it’s time to relax guilt-free. For you, maybe that means spending your time spread out on the couch watching whatever movies are on the box.

In order to help you decide what to watch, we’ve put together a list of the six best movies on TV tonight.

Clueless – 6pm – Comedy Central

The archetypal 90s movie. Alicia Silverstone has to makeover Brittany Murphy in an attempt to make her popular, learns a lot about herself on the way. Features the ageless Paul Rudd as a twenty-something who looks exactly the way he looks right now.

Red River – 6.20pm – ITV4

Conflict grows between a tough Texan rancher and his Civil War veteran foster son during a 1,000 mile cattle drive to Missouri. The older man’s uncompromising methods and unyielding outlook lead his workers to mutiny – and the son ends up siding with the rebellious ranch hands against his father. Starring John Wayne, in case you’re still confused about what kind of movie this is.

High Plains Drifter – 9pm – ITV4

A mysterious stranger is hired to defend a remote frontier town from three outlaws who are making people’s lives a misery. Although he rids the community of the troublemakers, the residents’ lives take a turn for the worse as their saviour seizes control of the town and seeks to punish them for their past sins. Starring Clint Eastwood, in case you’re still confused about what kind of movie this is.

Meet The Fockers – 9pm – Sky One

The sequel to Meet The Parents, this time starring Dustin Hoffman as Ben Stiller’s father. Just wacky, zany, kooky comedy.

Transporter 3 – 11.25pm – Channel 4

Jason Statham Kicks The Shit Out Of People 3.

The 40-Year-Old Virgin – 11pm – Sky One

The comedy that really launched Steve Carell’s glittering career. Features the ageless Paul Rudd as a twenty-something who looks exactly the way he looks right now.
