Captain Jack does it again
Johnny Depp has been praised yet again for taking time out to delight his fans and for the ease at which he can slip into character as Captain Jack Sparrow.
The Pirates of the Caribbean actor was out and about recently when he met with a fan and put on a performance as the famed pirate of the Seven Seas.
The 59-year-old begins the exchange in his normal voice, but, when prompted, his voice slurs into the distinctive character within seconds.
While fans were in no doubt they were hearing Jack Sparrow, some weren’t so sure… it was Johnny delivering the lines.
The actor was without his iconic wispy mo and goatee combo.
“Love how he can go into character so fast”, one fan wrote, while another added he “slipped right into the spirit of Captain Jack Sparrow.”

“It threw me off him with no facial hair and of course he’s awesome, he’s Captain Jack Sparrow,” another said.
“People saying it’s not Johnny… you do realise he shaves just like any other man on the planet right,” another commenter wrote.
While he might not be slated to return as the pirate on the big screen again, Depp clearly enjoys slipping back into character, even amid his highly publicised defamation case against his ex-wife, Amber Heard.
Depp has previously gone all out, costume and all, to surprise fans at Disneyland when they went on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, and during hospital visits to sick children.
