So the moment we have all been waiting for has finally come. Love Island's Jack Fincham - everybody's best mate, the only guy in there you'd go to the pub with,
quite possibly the soundest bloke to ever live - got to meet his girlfriend's eponymous father.
Although Dani's parents were unable to be there in person due to a family holiday, talking to Dani and Jack via Skype, Danny said he approved of the two of them being together.

Danny said to Jack: “Listen, I approve of you mate. I think you’re absolutely bang on. I weren’t at first, I thought, ‘Oh here we go’.”
“Look at him, look at him. Look at his little face. Do you know what Jack, listen. Proper geezer, gotta say.
“I’ll tell you what I love about you, I love the fact you got a little Derby. You got so much charisma. Takes a brave man to bowl into that gaff, them all ‘abbed up’, proper geezer. Honestly mate, we’re so over the moon.”
Jack has had the senior Dyer’s poster hanging over his bed since he was a teenager, and back in the Beach Hut, he seemed over the moon about winning his girlfriend's dad's approval.
Jack said: “It’s nerve-wracking. The fact that he approves of me and he likes me, I just thought, ‘That’s brilliant’. Dani must feel so relieved.”
