The British actor showcased his boxing skills this weekend, training in a South African gym as he gets ready to star in an adaptation of Stephen King’s
Dark Tower with Matthew McConaughey.
Idris stepped into the ring with pro fighter Rowan Katzew and impressed onlookers with his boxing prowess.

Speaking to
The Sunday People, Rowan said the actor is so good in the ring he could even carve a boxing career of his own. “Idris has a professional fighter inside him and he’s passionate about it,” he said. “He told me how much he loves fighting.
“He’s very fit, his technique is good, he obviously has experience. For a guy of 43 he was on top form."
Idris has previously demonstrated his fighting prowess in a video for sports brand LUTA, which you can see below. Going by his busy acting schedule at the moment, it's no wonder he's likes to spend time getting fighting fit.
