House of the Dragon returns with a surprise mini arc

The return comes in Game of Thrones: Conquest, the long-running mobile strategy game from WB Games Boston.

Following the drama of House of the Dragon Season 3, Conquest will host a limited-time House of the Dragon Mini Arc running until Monday 24 August.

It is billed as the fourth and final House of the Dragon mini-arc in the game, and forms part of the wider History and Visions event running throughout August.

Not everyone loved season 3

The tie-in caps a divisive Season 3, which drew both praise and criticism for diverging from George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood.

Jace’s death was a notable departure from the books, while Aegon II’s reunion with the dragon Sunfyre, a showcase for Tom Glynn-Carney, was widely singled out as a high point.

Players can jump into the event when it opens on 10 August, according to Screen Rant. For fans still processing the season finale, it is one last trip to Westeros before the wait for what comes next.
