Honey G’s debut single hasn’t even cracked the top 100

At the end of a year full of unpredictable results, it has emerged that Honey G's debut single looks unlikely to be the chart-bothering success many feared.

The X Factor sensation divided the public into those who hated her schtick and those who really hated it, prompting dismay when she announced she would be releasing a single. There had been concerns that it might trouble the top of the charts, with the same people who voted to keep her on the reality show opting to invest in her musical career. But it seems folks have seen sense, with early figures indicating that the 'rapper' will be lucky to see 'The Honey G Show' enter the top 100 of the charts. According to the Daily Mail, the single is in at number 149 (yes, there's a number 149) on the midweek chart. The official video has been viewed more than 1.3m times on YouTube, though it has more than 60,000 dislikes compared to fewer than 15,000 likes at the time of writing.
