That's right, for a time in the '90s, Superman rocked a mullet.
The rest of Superman's return concerned dealing with four pretenders to his crown.
But the questions we really have in the wake of this tease are:
1) Will Superman return early into Justice League: Part 1's run time, or will he be saved for a ending reveal?
2) WILL HENRY CAVILL HAVE A MULLET IN JUSTICE LEAGUE?
Seriously, all will be forgiven if Henry Cavill dedicates himself to growing a nineties style mullet for Justice League.
Imagine, Justice League, one of the most expensive films ever made, featuring one of Hollywood's most square-jawed and most handsome men - in a mullet.
Warner Bros. coming off the back of three critically underwhelming films, once again entrusting Zack Synder to do right... making Henry Cavill have a mullet.
The thought of it makes us all excited.
Please have Henry Cavill in a mullet for Justice League. Have Zack insist he grows it long, none of that wig nonsense too.
