Game of Thrones star Liam Cunningham gives a tantalising update on Season 7

Winter is here but Westeros is heating up.

Given that the majority of characters in Game of Thrones are either killers, liars, schemers, psychopaths, direwolves or Sam, it’s not a good idea to trust anyone in Westeros.

There are some exceptions though because as we all know, Ser Davos is a man that has frequently behaved with integrity and honesty.

Yep, we’re convinced that he’s going to be murdered too.

After all, doesn’t every beloved character in Game of Thrones meet a horrific end?

This being said, ‘The Onion Knight’ has frequently shown that he’s a man of conviction.

He defied Stannis’ wishes to kill Gendry and he has also proven his worth to Jon Snow. As we all know, Ser Davos was a key member in the group that resurrected the former Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch and during the Battle of the Bastards, he was the person that rallied those troops that were loyal to House Stark with the words “Go, go! Follow your commander!”

Speaking with IGN, Cunningham gave a few clues about what fans can expect in Season 7: “The progress of the show with the White Walkers and all that stuff, it’s pretty obvious nobody’s going to be able to take this force on on their own,” said Cunningham.

“So when we’ve had all these, for all these seasons, disparate stories come from disparate ends of Westeros, it has been – and it’s been signaled from the end of last season – that there’s a lot of people and situations going to be coming together. It was kind of interesting to meet some people who I normally only meet on a red carpet. Who that is and when that happens remains to be seen” he added.

Given that we already knew about a certain meeting of two characters, we’re intrigued to see who else might be crossing paths.
