Game of Thrones release ‘official tease’ for season eight

Another dose of teaser footage for Game of Thrones has been released ahead of season eight, which premieres on April 15 in the UK

This is a proper tease

More footage has been released by HBO ahead of season eight of Game of Thrones, this time in the form of an ‘official tease’ entitled ‘Aftermath’.

The short video uploaded to the official Game of Thrones YouTube channel is one minute and 11 seconds long and features no main characters or even wight walkers. It does, however, feature some important objects in the battle against the dead.

A dragonglass arrow features in the video early on, before Tyrion’s pin, Arya’s needle, the feather that was placed on Lyanna Stark’s throne, Jaime Lannister’s golden hand and Daenerys’ chain all make brief appearances in the teaser video.

The final and possibly most significant object to feature in the video is Jon Snow’s sword, Longclaw.

Read into this what you will. I’ve learned not to bother predicting what will happen in Game of Thrones anymore because it never, ever, comes true.
