Former England midfielder Kieron Dyer looks set for a reality TV role

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here returns to our screens on November 15, and it appears a former England footballer is destined to take up his place in the jungle.

Following in the footsteps of fellow ex-pro Jimmy Bullard, Kieron Dyer has landed in Australia and did his best to deny that he’d be appearing on the Ant & Dec-hosted show.

Jokingly suggesting that he’d only arrived Down Under to play for Brisbane, the former Newcastle, QPR and West Ham player was reportedly met by a chaperone from the show at the airport.

We’re not all avid fans of I’m a Celebrity, but with Dyer’s inclusion, there’s now a very real possibility that we could witness somebody tweaking a hamstring while eating a kangaroo’s testicle.

Who doesn’t want to watch that?
