Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson aren’t returning to main cast of American Horror Story season 11

Nope, please say it ain’t so!

While we celebrate the return of American Horror story – finally! – we may need to raise a drink in remembrance to two favourite stars of the show.

That’s right AHS finally, finally upon us! AHS: NYC – the title and theme for the long-awaited season 11 – has been confirmed, it’s dropping in this month after a very long time of the plot details and everything else in between are being kept under strict wraps.

While there is still a lot of secrecy, the official main cast list has been revealed.

But fans will quickly notice some pretty huge names that aren’t on there. Sarah Paulson? Evan Peters?

It’s possible that they they’ll pop up as guest stars, but it must be noted that they have not been names as main cast members at the moment.

Evan has not spoken about his involvement in the latest season of American Horror Story. It also seems unlikely that he’ll appear in the new season, possibly due to a scheduling clash as he spent the last year busy at work on Netflix’s DAHMER – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.

Neither Sarah or Evans in AHS: 1984, so if they both skip this upcoming season it will be second time the two fan faves and OG cast have been MIA from the the cast list.

We can celebrate the fact, fan favourite icon Billie Lourd IS in the main cast list though.

She confirmed her place in the show posting a promo picture – hilariously many fans confused it for a Lil Nas X album cover. No, it’s just Billie promising she’ll be on the show.

Elsewhere, the legendary Patti LuPone and Zachary Quinto will finally be returning to the series. There’s also plenty of new faces that will be appearing in their first season of the main AHS series.
