Elon Musk smoked a joint with Joe Rogan during an episode of the JRE.
Watch the video below, but he clearly doesn’t inhale or indeed know how to hold a spliff.
After the podcast aired Tesla shares dropped 9 per cent, wiping $3.1 billion off the company’s value (at the time of writing.) Although, that may have more to do with Musk’s robotic behaviour than smoking weed. Or his “pedo” refresher for the cave diver involved in rescuing the Thai football team.

The interview was punctuated by long pauses and flashing eye movement by Musk after he was asked questions.
He and Rogan covered artificial intelligence in detail, as well as social media and his flamethrower. On AI, Musk said he would be announcing in a few months a ‘neurolink’ that connects humans with machines.

The pair even whipped out a samurai sword, after the whiskey had flowed a little. Musk, the billionaire owner of two companies, explained it’s like a “never-ending explosion” inside his head.
“I don’t think you’d necessarily want to be me,” he said. “I don’t think people would like it that much.”
He went on to say that running Tesla was the “hardest” job he has: “It’s very difficult to keep a car company alive.”
