Cannes Film Festival joins the war on ‘grotesque’ selfies

They love a good selfie at the Oscars, don't they.
Who could forget that star-studded snap with the likes of Bradley Cooper, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie gawping down the camera. What a time to be alive. Well, the Cannes Film Festival is obviously far more highbrow and they're not massive fans of the old selfie. So much so that selfie sticks and even selfies themselves are not welcome at this year's festival.Selfies indeed frowned upon at #Cannes2015

Fesitval director Thierry Fremaux called selfies "ridiculous and grotesque" and said they were strongly discouraged. Quite.
Looks like Prince Harry is in good company then.
Still. we're sure a few celebs will manage to take a cheeky stealthie (stealth selfie).
