We finally have the official release date for Bodyguard on Netflix

One of the most talked about dramas of 2018 will be landing on Netflix this side of the pond very, very soon. It's a must watch

In case you missed it, it was one of the most talked about shows of 2018

Our American cousins have been lording it over us for a while now.

When Bodyguard aired on BBC in August last year, users of Netflix US didn’t have to wait long to get the full season, with all six episodes arriving in October.

However, we have had to wait in limbo, completely unsure if the hit show would ever arrive on the streaming service for costumers on this side of the pond.

Thankfully, Netflix have announced via a cheeky tweet that Bodyguard will be made available to British users in just a few weeks time.

In case you have been in the dark about one of the most thrilling (and, lets admit it, one of the sexiest) shows of last year, it involves David Budd (Richard Madden – Game Of Thrones, Cinderella), a heroic, but volatile war veteran now working as a Specialist Protection Officer for London’s Metropolitan Police Service.

When he is assigned to protect the ambitious Home Secretary Julia Montague (Keeley Hawes – The Missing, High-Rise), Budd finds himself torn between his duty and his beliefs.

There are double-crosses, triple-crosses, quadruple-crosses, and lots of long lingering glances across important meeting rooms.

Bodyguard will arrive on Netflix here from Saturday 23 March.

Here is the Netflix US trailer for the show (so ignore that date at the end of it!):
