With the opening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens now just a matter of weeks away, many are no doubt preparing their costumes for their pre-booked visit to their local IMAX cinema. But cosplay enthusiasts everywhere may be disappointed.

AMC have taken a slightly less hardline approach but it's along similar lines...
“AMC does not permit weapons or items that would make other guests feel uncomfortable or detract from the movie-going experience. Guests are welcome to come dressed in costume, but we do not permit masks. If you're planning to go all dolled up, ring ahead to ensure you're not left as irate as this guy... https://twitter.com/shawn45673/status/661383521295052800?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw
