The new series, set to air in 2023 on the original reality show’s new home on ITV2 and ITVX, will see a cast of fresh faces from all walks of UK life compete to charm the nation and win a life-changing sum of money.
The final cast of housemates will live under the watchful eye of Big Brother, and the nation, for up to six weeks with cameras capturing their every move.
Over the course of the show, they’ll face a series of clever tasks, nail-biting nominations and live evictions, with the public once again playing a crucial role, voting throughout the series and ultimately determining the winner.
Big Brother is responsible for the fames of reality TV icons such as This Morning's Alisson Hammond, Jade Goody and Nikki Grahame.
News of the show's comeback emerged in August, when a promotional video aired during the Love Island final.

The iconic reality TV show launched back in 2000 and aired for 18 years in the UK before it was scrapped. However the programme will return after a five-year break, airing on ITV2 and streaming platform ITVX.
Old school fans will remember the days when Davina McCall presented the show when it was on Channel 4, and many were left devastated when the programme went to Channel 5 and she subsequently quit.
The 54-year-old presenter did return for a programme looking back at Big Brother's best ever moments for the show's 20th anniversary in 2020 - but fans are eager to see her return for an entire series.
Make it happen please ITV!
Applications to be a housemate will close on January 27th, 2023. For more information on how to apply for Big Brother, please see here.
