Another famous name is being lined up as a Top Gear host

It looks like there could be another famous face presenting Top Gear.

The BBC has already got Chris Evans and Matt Le Blanc on board for the new-look show. Nobody - and we mean literally nobody - saw the Friends star being snapped up by the BBC to present their flagship motoring programme. But it looks like their next pick is a little more predictable. Former F1 boss Eddie Jordan is being lined up to present the show alongside Evans and Le Blanc. The Mirror report that the 67-year-old Irishman could be signing on the dotted line over the next few days  as the post Jeremy Clarkson era kicks off. The Dublin man was the founder and owner of the Jordan Grand Prix team, between 1991 and 2005, and has been working as the BBC’s F1 lead analyst for the past six years. The BBC could confirm German racing driver Sabine Schmitz and motoring journalist Chris Harris as Top Gear presenters by next week too before the show airs in May.
