The Mirror report that the 67-year-old Irishman could be signing on the dotted line over the next few days as the post Jeremy Clarkson era kicks off.
The Dublin man was the founder and owner of the Jordan Grand Prix team, between 1991 and 2005, and has been working as the BBC’s F1 lead analyst for the past six years.
