Ana de Armas has revealed that her new film with Sydney Sweeney has a 'crazy threesome relationship'.
The latest film from Beautiful Mind director Ron Howard premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival over the weekend, and the star-studded cast has already created a major buzz.
Eden stars not only Ana de Armas and Sydney Sweeney, but also Jude Law, Vanessa Kirby and Daniel Bruhl.
The film is set in the Galápagos Islands in the 1930s, and has been described as a survival thriller film.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, de Armas opened up about her role, which sees her character 'The Baroness' get involved in some wild relations.
"I got a little scared, and I told [Ron] I was nervous because it was really out there," she told the outlet.
"He was very supportive and excited. There was no question I wanted to do it. I wanted the challenge."
"Having this crazy threesome relationship, and being a woman of opposites—either she’s sweet and tender and fragile and nervous and scared, or she’s absolutely crazy and dangerous," the actress continued.
"It was kind of finding that limit: What was the craziest I could get? How far could I go?"
The actress described one of the scenes in the film as the ' scariest thing [she's] ever done'. It involves 'some creative food play', alongside singing and violence.
“It was kind of like a chess game. We spent three days shooting that.”
For those who want to see what the intriguing film is all about, you may have to wait some time.
The film premiered on September 7 at the Toronto International Film Festival, but is yet to get a release date for the UK.
