Rourke told Piers Morgan that a similar experience cost him 'movie jobs for several years'
Amidst ongoing legal issues,
Amber Heard has been branded an "absolute gold-digger" by actor Mickey Rourke who just so happens to be mates with
Johnny Depp.
Appearing on Piers Morgan's Talk TV show, the same one that saw
plummeting ratings just a week after first airing, Rourke did not hold back
and also roasted Hollywood actor and
Scientology member Tom Cruise.
"Well, you know, I know Johnny for many years, but I don't really know him intimately," the 69-year-old told Morgan. "All I could say is I was in a situation one time where I got blamed for something that I didn't do. It cost me movie jobs for several years and it caused a bad reputation."

He added: "And finally, the truth came out but the truth came out after I lost movies and I lost jobs and so I felt bad for somebody that is trying to get chopped down by some gold digger, you know."
This spurred the former
Good Morning Britain host to question whether Heard, 36, is a "gold digger."
"Abso- f***ing-lutely. Absolutely," he replied.
Just this week,
Heard lost her mistrial bid for the defamation case that saw her ex-husband awarded damages of $10.35m (£8.2m). The
Aquaman actress did win one claim, totalling $2m (£1.5m).
Heard's legal team filed for a mistrial after it was revealed that a juror's son filled his spot as they share the same name and address. However Judge Azcarate ruled that the man's son "met the statutory requirements for service" and had been questioned and approved by both sides in advance.
"The juror was vetted, sat for the entire jury, deliberated, and reached a verdict," she added.
