A Peaky Blinders bar is opening in the northwest

Paul Moore

Christmas road trip? By order of the Peaky Blinders!

As Season 4 of Peaky Blinders has shown, Christmas isn’t exactly a cheery time for the Shelby family but that doesn’t mean that you and your mates can’t enjoy a tipple over the holiday period!

If you enjoy whiskey, beer, cocktails and pretty much every type of spirit then you’re in luck because a new bar that’s inspired by the hit BBC series is opening in Liverpool.

As reported by the Liverpool Echo, the 1920’s themed bar is opening in the former Cains Brewery in the Baltic Triangle.

Ok, what can you expect?

All the wallpaper and lighting will be like it is on the show and there’s also going to be Victorian fixtures and Peaky Blinders decor throughout.

As for the selection of drinks, the bar is going to be better stocked than The Garrison!

Draught beers, bottles, fine wines, and spirits will all be available. After all, what type of Peaky Blinders bar wouldn’t have whiskey?!?!

If you’re a cocktail lover then you’ll be pleased to see that their menu includes drinks such as; ‘The Angry Arthur’ with Liverpool gin, cherry herring, chocolate Schnapps and ruby port, ‘The Aunt Polly’ with a blend of St Germaine elderflower liqueur, mint and prosecco and ‘Grace’s Secret’ which includes mango vodka, Malibu, passionfruit, lemon and apple.

Dear Tommy Shelby and Alfie Solomons fans, don’t worry. You’re also covered.

Here’s their cocktail menu in full.

The final touches are currently being made to the bar and owners hope that it should be open around December 18.

Granted, there are a few other Peaky Blinders themed pubs elsewhere, but if you’re living near Liverpool then this shoud appeal to you.

If you fancy a little trip over the Christmas holiday, this could be just the thing for you.

Just don’t forget to bring your flat cap. Cheers!
